As we approach the fall of 2023, the expected release date for the next generation of iPhones, more and more rumors about the highly-anticipated iPhone 15 lineup are beginning to surface. And today, we have some exciting news to share about the design of the new iPhones, thanks to the well-known leaker ShrimpApplePro.
According to ShrimpApplePro, the iPhone 15 Pro models will feature a sleek and modern design, with thinner, curved bezels compared to the iPhone 14 Pro models. This new design could result in a look similar to the Apple Watch Series 7 and Series 8, and could give the iPhones a more premium, luxurious feel.
All I can say that iPhone 15 now looks more Android than ever.

It's worth noting that ShrimpApplePro has clarified that the next-generation "Pro" iPhone models will still have flat displays, so don't expect any curved screens on the new iPhones. However, the curved front glass will reportedly be present on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus as well, but these devices will not have thinner bezels compared to their iPhone 14 predecessors.
For those wondering about the display sizes for the new iPhones, ShrimpApplePro has stated that the iPhone 15 lineup will feature the same display sizes as last year's iPhone 14 lineup. This means we can expect to see two standard models with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screens, and two higher-end models with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays. The premium variants, which will allegedly be known as the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Ultra, will have thinner bezels than their 2022 counterparts.
ShrimpApplePro also adds that the new iPhones will have curved edges and flat screens, and likens the design to the Apple Watch Series 8. Additionally, all the models will have the Dynamic Island cutout which is currently exclusive to the Pro models. The phones will continue using the Ceramic Shield glass for protection.
Another interesting point to note is that ShrimpApplePro's source has also told them that the iPhone 15 has the same sized camera cutout as the current generation, which suggests that front camera specs won't change. The leaker has also implied that the design changes will make the iPhone 15 look like Android phones. iPhones are currently easily identifiable because of their flat screen, notch, and camera array.
Of course, it's important to keep in mind that these are just rumors at this point and nothing has been officially confirmed by Apple. However, ShrimpApplePro has developed a good track record for revealing accurate information about Apple's plans, so their claims are definitely worth taking seriously.
We'll keep you updated as more information about the iPhone 15 lineup becomes available. Stay tuned!
